Finally some bear pictures...

So I mentioned bears in a past blog and until now haven't shown any pictures. The first picture is from the lens of Chris Bogan - it's the spirit house at the Tahltan cemetery.

The second photo is a screen capture from video taken in Hyder of a big healthy fellow grazing on grass between gorging on fish.

The next two photos are of a 4 year male Grizzly bear who was lazily chasing fish and then playing with a big stick in a pond. Finally you get to see the expression on my face just after observing this from very close.
