Update on blockade

We went and spoke to Tahltans on the blockade of the access road going into their territory in the Klappan about 15 km south of Iskut. So far I'm not sure if it's getting the kind of media coverage it needs to be successful in getting the Minister of Environment to come to the negotiation table. We'll go down and talk to them again tomorrow. I'd like to speak with both people on the blockade and hunters attempting to enter the area to find out directly how people are reacting.

On our way to Iskut over the pass we drove through the first snow of the season. Scary as we are planning to drive north to Whitehorse before we head south.
