91 Golf goes for a thousand

My car passed the first test: 1000 km. from Vancouver to Burns Lake. Recalling all the towns I drove through with Chris last year - we started from Penticton then - but after Cache Creek, Clinton, 100 Mile House, Lac la Hache, Williams Lake, Quesnel, Prince George, Vanderhoof (incidentally they are calling themselves the 'Geographical Centre of BC), Fraser Lake and finally Burns Lake - 16 hours, 8a.m. to Midnight. And, Richard, yes, I stopped at Horstings for pie and fruit. Great. Stayed at an old friend's place in Burns and continue on up the road. It's 12:45. I've had a leisurely morning and will not be under any pressure. On the other hand, it feels good to be moving and I'm restless to go.
